Maryam Ado Mohammed, also known as Maryam Booth, is a Nigerian actress and model. She gained international recognition for her role in The Milkmaid (2020). It was Nigeria’s representative for the best international feature category at the Academy Awards.
She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Zainab, a Fulani milkmaid who searches for her missing sister in rural Sub-Saharan Africa.
Maryam Booth was born on 28 October 1993 in Kano State, Nigeria. She belongs to a mixed heritage of Scottish and Fulani ancestry. Her mother, Zainab Booth, was also a veteran Kannywood actress who has starred in several films and TV shows.
